After I retired from working in IT, I explored my passion of writing science fiction, urban fantasies, and short stories. I also wrote my first non-fiction book, Write a Song Now! With Your Ukulele.

In my collections of fictional stories, set in my world of Sandy Shore, I explore the themes of Family, Sacrificing For Those You Love, Magic Realism in Mundane Settings, The Hidden World Among Us, Ordinary People In Extraordinary Circumstances, and Science Fiction Stories In A Small-Town Setting.

My two collections, Golden Heart, and The Silent Streets of Sandy Shore, contain stories with interconnected characters who have abilities and talents they struggle to reconcile with the world they live in and with those who may not know of their unique lives. 

As I continue to develop new stories I am delving into romantic relationships among the unique people of Sandy Shore and creating more stories of science fiction and urban fantasies.
